Readers Stories about GeoffreyThis section is dedicated to stories, memories, anecdotes and interesting snippets about Geoffrey and his life. Please do contribute by emailing me at info@antiquestories.co.uk Any information, no matter how small or insignificant is very welcome. Any memory I have of "Uncle Geoffrey" (I had to call everyone older than 20 Uncle) from my time in Bath Hill Court with Andrea, Zena and the late Howard can only bring a smile on my face and fill my heart with warmth. However when Andy and I had to Caddie on the Golf course walking miles while Geoffrey and Howard would spend hours discussing the right shot soon took that smile off our faces. But they always tipped us very well!. I remember the joy Geoffrey took when he booked up and took Lyndsay and Peter on a skiing holiday. It was to be a special holiday and all three were looking forward to spending time and having a brilliant holiday. He had spent so much time planning the holiday to make it perfect. I remember looking out the window as they all loaded up the car and off they went. I remember Geoffrey's huge smile at Lyndsay's wedding . What always amazed me was how Geoffrey would travel up to London come rain or shine simply to spend time with Lyndsay and Peter share magic moments with his grandchildren. Whenever I saw Geoffrey he always made it his business to pull me a side and tell me how proud he was of Peter and Lyndsay and the families they had created. It gave him great joy. "Uncle Geoffrey" as I had to call him in my childhood was loved by so many people, I was one of them! Jill Samuels
